HISTORY OF COMPUTER IN NEPAL

        Computer is a programmable machine that stores and retrieves data and performs high speed logical and mathematical operations.
        The first computer brought in Nepal wasIBM 1401 which was brought by the government in lease for the population census of 1972 (2028 BS). Later in 1975 (2031 BS)YantrikSarinikaran Kendra (Electronic Data Processing Centre) was established which was later called as National Computer Centre (NCC). Again for the population census of 2038 BS ICL 2950/10 computer having 64 terminals was brought in Nepal by the aid of UNDP. After 2039 B.S. Microcomputer like; Apple, Vector, Sirius were introduced in the capital. From that time computers have been used in different government sectors like banking, agriculture, universities etc. Now there are thousands of computers institutes providing computer educations, assembling, maintenance etc. throughout the kingdom of Nepal. Now a day in every sector there the people use computer to do the work easier.

      Thank you for your auspicious questions. For being IT professional, you have to be good in programming language like python, java, perl and many more other. Therefore, You shpuld have interest on it. After completion of +2 you can read IT subject here in Nepal.

QBASIC

                         QBASIC QBasic , a short form of  Quick Beginners All purpose Symbolic Instruction Code , is an  integrated development environment  and  interpreter  for a variety of  BASIC programming languages  which are based on  QuickBASIC . Code entered into the IDE is compiled to an  intermediate representation , and this  IR  is immediately interpreted on demand within the IDE. [1]  It can run under nearly all versions of  DOS  and 32-bit versions of  Windows , or through emulation via  DOSBox / DOSEMU  on  Linux ,  FreeBSD , and 64-bit versions of Windows. [2]  (QBasic is a DOS program and requires DOS or a DOS emulator. Windows XP comes with an emulator called DOS Virtual Machine, subsequent versions of Windows require an emulator such as DosBox.) For its time, QBasic provided a state-of-the-art IDE, including a  debugger  with features such as on-the-fly expression evaluation and code modification. It supports various inbuilt functions.
